As the title suggests, this is an “easy-going piece” for ambitious brass players with a melodious horn solo in the first section, which is repeated in turn by the other wind players after brief interjections. The slow, cantabile passage of this title, which is certainly suitable as a concert opener, delights the listener with a catchy trumpet melody. As all parts are kept relatively compact, the work can also be performed with more advanced students due to its length.
