Serenade on the themes “Auld Lang Syne” and “Guten Abend, gut’ Nacht”

This work provides a beautifully reflective and atmospheric conclusion to any concert. Its serene ending, highlighted by the iconic trumpet signal from the Grand Tattoo, can be staged with distant or echo trumpets for an especially moving effect. For performances with choir and wind orchestra, additional vocal parts are available for mixed choir (SATB) or male choir (TTBB).
