Awarded the prize of the composition competition “Blasmusik 2000” of the Musikbund von Ober- und Niederbayern. A large-scale, fanfare-influenced introduction frames the entire colorfully orchestrated piece. The rhythmically pointed Allegro main section includes a lyrical middle section marked Moderato dolce with a pleasing flugelhorn solo. The sound language is influenced by the tone of pop music, easy to grasp and effective.
