Emmerich Bünemann (1929-2018)

Trio movements for violoncellos

Emmerich Bünemann has compiled eight pieces from the Baroque and Classical periods here. This selection can be used to expand the classical repertoire for three violoncellos for music lessons. The works clearly stand out from each other in their character. This promotes flexibility in musical interpretation.

1 George Frideric Handel, Adagio (from the Organ Concerto No. 10)
2 Georg Philipp Telemann, Vite (from the Quartet in B minor)
3 Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Church Sonata KV 67
4 Joseph Clemens Ferdinand dall’Abaco, Adagio (from the Sonata No. 2 for 2 violoncellos)
5 Michael Haydn, Menuetto (from the Notturno for orchestra, P106)
6 Joseph Haydn, Adagio (from the Divertimento in D major, Hob. XIV 113)
7 Leonard de Call, March (from the Serenade op. 99)
8 Old hunter’s march
