Divertimento variato for 2 oboes, 2 clarinets, 2 horns and 2 bassoons

This work of variations is based on a song movement by W. H. Veit (1806-1864) to a text by C. v. Lengerke. In it, an old beetle vainly courts the favor of a flower. But it has already turned to a young butterfly “… hum, hum, hum …”
