Franz Beyer (1922-2018)
Holiest night
24 Christmas carols in movements for 4 recorders (S/A-A-T-B)
With this collection, published in cooperation with Strube Verlag, we present you with a “delicacy” and a well-assorted “treasure trove” for the organization of Advent and Christmas celebrations and church services or simply for making music and singing together.
All the pieces are also suitable as accompaniments to the choral booklet (VS-001) published at the same time; the verse preludes and interludes are also marked in the parts.
All the songs were set in the style of their time of composition by Franz Beyer, editor of a version of the Mozart Requiem and numerous works of the Viennese Classical period which is now established worldwide, whereby the simplicity and clarity of the movements are based on historical models.
