Emmerich Bünemann has orchestrated two marches and two polonaises from the “Klavierbüchlein für Anna Magdalena Bach” for strings. They are easier for beginners to perform than the original compositions for string orchestra by C. P. E. Bach, but still allow them to become acquainted with his music by means of simple works. All four movements can be performed solo or in tutti with or without basso continuo.
