Awarded the prize of the composition competition “Blasmusik 2000” of the Musikbund von Ober- und Niederbayern The work makes use of the current fashionable sound language and is immediately appealing. Constructed in three parts, a festive introductory fanfare is followed by a slow cantabile section in 6/8 time with a tenor horn solo. This is followed by the Allegro main section with its brilliant, rhythmically accentuated style.
