A compilation of six movements from various four-part chamber music and string orchestra works by Georg Philipp Telemann (1681-1767) to form a varied suite. The different characters of the individual movements make for an entertaining performance of the music of a composer who was regarded as an agile and experimental spirit in the transition from the Baroque to the early Classical period.
