Inspired by the landscape and atmosphere of the Italian Friuli (= Furlan), the Munich jazz musician and composer Bernhard Ullrich wrote this short, technically not too difficult piece. Large melodic arcs and the sustained, almost impressionistic accompaniment make the lyrical character of this work clear.
