Old acquaintances
Music from 5 centuries for 4 brass players
in sentences by Hans-Herbert Winkel
compiled and revised by Hans-Peter Winkel and Martin Lamprecht
From an extensive collection of four-part brass arrangements by the Munich cellist and composer Hans-Herbert Winkel (1913-1999), a total of 52 popular titles from various genres have been selected for this edition. From dance movements from the Renaissance to sacred music from the classical period to folk songs and evergreens, everything is included and compiled in practical part books in A5 landscape format. Due to the clear structure of the movements, a score could be dispensed with.
Here you will find melodies full of nostalgia in an appropriately realized musical language. In short: A magazine for all occasions and a promising meeting with “old acquaintances”!
