Gert Lueken (*1954)

… wurde 1954 geboren und studierte Klarinette, Klavier und Musikpädagogik an der Hochschule für Musik in Bremen. Er war viele Jahre in verschiedenen Jazz- und Rockbands aktiv und arbeitete sechs Jahre als Schauspielmusiker am Bremer Theater. Als langjähriger Musikpädagoge ist er an den Musikschulen in Rotenburg und Verden tätig. Zudem ist Lueken als Kammermusiker, Chorleiter und Mitglied einer Soul-Band aktiv.

In seiner musikalischen Laufbahn hat er in verschiedenen Bereichen der Musik gearbeitet, von klassischer Musik über Jazz und Rock bis hin zu Schauspielmusik und Kirchenmusik. Besonders als Kammermusiker mit Klarinette sowie als Saxophonist in verschiedenen Formationen hat er sich einen Namen gemacht. Lueken war zudem viele Jahre als Schulleiter der Kreismusikschule Rotenburg tätig und engagiert sich weiterhin in vielfältigen musikalischen Projekten.

He was active in various jazz and rock bands for many years and worked as an actor-musician at the Bremen Theatre for six years. As a long-time music educator, he teaches at the music schools in Rotenburg and Verden. Additionally, Lueken is active as a chamber musician, choir conductor, and member of a soul band.

Throughout his musical career, he has worked in a variety of genres, from classical music to jazz, rock, theater music, and church music. Notably, Lueken has gained recognition as a chamber musician with the clarinet and as a saxophonist in various ensembles. He also served for many years as the director of the Rotenburg County Music School and remains actively involved in a wide range of musical projects.
