In this issue you will find 20 new sentences for the Christmas season. Hubert Meixner has contributed ten compositions for this booklet, which have different musical characters: baroque festive, traditional alpine or based on English tunes. The movements of the ten Ebensee pastoral songs – a small selection from an extensive collection of these Upper Austrian folk tunes and songs, unique in their kind – were also written by H. Meixner. All pieces can be played with four (2 Tp, 2 Pos) or five (2 Tp, Hn, Pos, Tb) brass instruments; corresponding information on the distribution of parts is noted.<\/p>\n
